God, please grant our leaders the ability to listen to their constituents. Grant them the courage to do the right things as leaders to protect our nation, our liberties and our future. Grant them the wisdom to not be swayed by what is popular over what is right. Grant them compassion in their hearts and logic in their minds so that justice remains blind and charity remains personal.

I pray that all of us look to you in this great time of need. Grant us the strength to build our families, our churches and our communities through our own efforts and toil. With love and devotion for our families and our friends, I pray to you, Amen.
